Times have changed and thanks to technology
nowadays
I bounce out of bed
for my morning shave
Long, long ago there was a
straight edge razor
capable of slicing whisker and beauty mark
in one stroke
(unless guided by an expert hand)
Then the new blades came like in a
baseball inning: single, double and triple!
with ergodynamic handles and vitamins
drenched on the tiny lamelas
Shaving has become an intimate passtime,
a time when less is more
for what exhudes as much confidence in a man
as two freshly spanking shaved cheeks?
